WHAT IS N. E. T. ABOUT?
Nazeman Education Trust or N. E. T. for short is about the Wildlife, Geology and History of the Naze and surrounding area, It is not just about us, It has been set up primarily as a an aid for people coming to the area so they can find out what is here and how to find it.
THE AIMS OF N. E. T.
We are here to educate and increase the awareness of the public to the beauty and fragility of the area its Wildlife and
Geology.

Each Month check out what has happened at the Naze and what has been found, and if you have found or seen anything at the Naze you think is worth reporting let us know and we will include it. HISTORY.
This new page is an occasional page that will cover different aspects of the history of the Naze and surrounding area and will change every few months.
THE GEOLOGY.
Two pages dedicated to the Geology of the Naze, Which although of no great age about 53.7 Million Years is world
renowned for its fossil Bird remains, also found are assorted fossil fish remains, mostly Sharks Teeth. The upper parts of the cliff has many fossil shells and dates back some 2 Million years. Above the Red Crag are a complex series of Glacial and interglacial deposits from the Anglian and Devensian Glaciations.

THE WILDLIFE.
The Naze and surrounding area holds many rare and local species of Insects, Birds and Plants and these pages explain about many of them.
