Nazeman Education Trust "Bringing the Naze alive for all"
SCHOOLS PAGE
The Naze is a Public Open Space and Site of Special scientific Interest in North East Essex and is used by many schools for Geography course work because of its rapidly eroding cliffs. The area is also ideal for working with the younger students to explain about History and Ecology.
The Nazeman Education Trust maintains an Information / Sales point at the side of the Naze Links café. We have full Public Liability Insurance and have done a full risk assessment for groups using our services.
We offer a fully guided 1 hour walk to explain the Geography / Geology or the History and Ecology of the area, we can tailor these walk to the exact needs of the group we are taking around. We find our Geology / Fossil talk and hunt on the beach is ideal for the younger students.
We have also a free 15 minute talk at the information point about either the Geography / Geology or the History / Ecology of the area. Although this is a free service advance booking is required.
